Designing a music festival everyone wants to snag a ticket to

I was the creative director setting the vision for Loufest for the majority of the years it was around. Of all of the years I worked on it, this years concept rises to the top because we full embraced Saint Louis - including a ferris wheel reminiscent of the Worlds Fair at the fest. We also gamifed the release of the line-up in social and built out a robust website to buy tickets through.

Crafting an illustration style that can keep up with the pace of social

The greatest learning for me with this work, from a nerdy design operations standpoint, was to define an aesthetic that can be executed on quickly. I crafted basic line drawings that were brilliantly brought to life by a strong colorstory that layered on top of them. Elements from the posters could be pulled apart and used in other collateral so no illustration went to waste.
