Transforming a patient experience from paper to pixel

This was truly a career-changing project. When we initially started working with St Jude, their patient experience was entirely a paper process. As the creative director on this app I drove the initial human-centered design discovery and provided design oversight of the mobile app. I want to be clear, there was a UX designer on this project and, while I sometimes rolled up my sleeves to design icons or pieces of the visual language, my primary role was to guide the overarching vision. Not only did this project have an impact on St Jude, it also won two Webby awards.
